New: import Trello boards via JSON in Kanban Studio

You can now migrate lists, cards, labels, and checklist data from Trello with a guided import flow and safety validations.

Product update

We just shipped a release many teams asked for: Trello JSON import directly in the board creation flow.

The goal is to cut migration time and remove the need to rebuild board structure manually before your team can execute.

What changed for users

  • New import-from-Trello action in the board wizard.
  • Preview summary with board name, lists, cards, labels, and checklist totals.
  • Validation layer for format and limits to prevent broken or unstable imports.

The workflow is straightforward: upload file, review summary, apply import, create board.

Practical impact

If your current workflow is in Trello, you can now move into Kanban Studio with much lower friction and keep delivery momentum.

Reliability also improves: data is normalized and incompatible files are blocked early, instead of creating partial boards.
